Piping Engineer

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline (University Diploma Mandatory)

Minimum 8+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, EPC, and industrial construction projects

Previous Mozambique LNG project experience is required Previous Mozambique LNG project experience is preferred.

Previous Offshore Oil & Gas project experience is required Previous Offshore Oil & Gas project experience is preferred.

Job Description:

Managed piping construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for LNG and offshore facilities.

Reviewed piping layouts, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and construction work packages to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Coordinated fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, flushing, and reinstatement activities.

Ensured piping works were executed in accordance with approved procedures, international codes, and client requirements.

Coordinated with Mechanical, Structural, E&I, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams to achieve project milestones.

Monitored subcontractor performance, productivity, and resource utilization.

Participated in technical clarifications, punch list closure, and system handover activities.

Supervised field engineering activities and provided technical support during construction and commissioning phases.

Ensured compliance with HSE requirements and project quality standards.

Demonstrated extensive experience in large-scale LNG projects, including offshore facilities, modules, pipe racks, utility systems, and process piping networks.
