Job Description

Key Responsibilities  Project Planning & Control: Developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
 Technical Coordination: Reviewing designs, conducting feasibility studies, and overseeing CAD models or simulations, Substation and switchyard Sizing and layout, review of clearances ensure that the statutory regulations are followed Review Calculations for sizing of electrical equipment, cables, Earthing, Lightning, Lighting and preparation of drawings
 Safety Audit: Knowledge of Electrical Safety Audit, Earthing and Lightning Protection Audits for plants preferred.
 Power system study: Modelling in ETAP, Running Load Flow, Short Circuit, relay coordination studies, Motor starting studies, Transient Study analysis, Arc Flash Study. Insulation coordination study using PSCAD/ EMTP will be an advantage.
 Quality Assurance: Ensuring compliance with industry standards, Nation and International Standards, Local regulations, and quality checks.
 Team Communication: Bridging gaps between stakeholders, contractors, and on-site staff, including managing RFIs (Requests for Information
 Problem-Solving: Identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical obstacles that arise during project execution.
 Documentation: Preparing progress reports and updating project documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Electrical.
 Experience: 5 to 10 years’ Experience in design of Electrical systems for Industries, Power Plants, Substations and Transmission Lines up to 400 kV, Knowledge of design of Renewable Energy projects is an advantage (solar, Wind and Biogas projects).
 Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Knowledge in Power System study software ETAP or similar software,
 Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, multitasking, and decision-making skills Innovative ideas and creativity.
