Hiring Production Supervisor position for Jamnagar Location

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Production Monitoring: Machine-wise output vs. plan every 2 hrs; real-time ERP update; immediate corrective action for shortfall; escalate if unresolved in 30 min.

• Material Issuance: Raise MIS; verify alloy grade, heat number & colour tag vs. BOM; correct quantity; enforce FIFO on WIP lots.

• Return of Unprocessed Material: Reconcile all issued quantities at shift end; prepare MRN for surplus/unprocessed material; Stores sign-off; zero unaccounted parts.

• Operator Allocation: Post deployment chart at shift start; cross-deploy for absentees; ensure drawing, Control Plan & gauges at every workstation.

• Production Planning Execution: Execute shift plan as released; sequence jobs for minimum changeover; track machine utilisation & downtime; carry forward pending lots with written handover.

• Quality & First-Off Inspection: FAI completed & signed before every batch/setup change; co-sign in-process inspection records as per Control Plan frequency.

• Rejection / Rework Segregation: Segregate with red tags immediately; move to Rejection Bay with documentation; zero mixed lots; report repeat rejections to Quality.

• 5S & Safety: Shift-end 5S round; 100% PPE compliance on all operators; report near-misses to Safety Officer immediately.

• Shift Handover: Complete Shift Handover Logbook — plan vs. actual, pending jobs, breakdowns, quality alerts — signed by both supervisors
