HIRING DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER – PLANNING, MATERIALS and COST CONTROL

Location:* Mumbai, India | Extensive travel across Africa

👤 *Experience:* 15–20 Years
🎓 *Qualification:* B.E./B.Tech. in Civil / Mechanical Engineering
🌍 *Africa project experience highly preferred*

We are looking for an experienced *DGM – Planning, Materials & Cost Control* to lead centralized project planning, material planning, procurement coordination, budgeting and cost control across multiple projects in Africa.

### 🔑 Key Responsibilities

* Develop and monitor integrated project schedules using *Primavera P6*
* Project budgeting, cost control and expense monitoring
* Commitment, PO and cost forecasting
* Advance material planning and Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
* Coordinate procurement, RFQs, vendors, logistics and site deliveries
* Monitor material receipt, inventory and utilization project-wise
* Track project progress against baseline schedules
* Prepare daily/weekly *Project MIS & dashboards*
* Identify delays, cost deviations and material risks through early-warning systems
* Conduct cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
* Coordinate with Project, Procurement, Finance, Stores, Logistics and Site teams
* Manage multiple geographically dispersed projects across Africa

### ✅ Mandatory / Preferred Skills

✔️ 15–20 years overall experience
✔️ 8–10+ years in Project Controls / Planning / Cost Control
✔️ Strong *Primavera P6* knowledge
✔️ Advanced MS Excel & Project MIS
✔️ Strong Material Planning & Procurement Coordination experience
✔️ Budgeting, Cost Forecasting & Expense Control
✔️ EPC / Infrastructure / Oil & Gas / Petroleum project experience
✔️ Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously
✔️ Strong commercial and analytical skills
✔️ Willingness to travel extensively across Africa
