Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for operating and maintaining purified water treatment systems to ensure consistent water quality and regulatory compliance. Duties include monitoring equipment, performing water tests, maintaining records, and conducting routine maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor RO systems, pumps, valves, and chemical dosing equipment.
Perform water quality testing (pH, chlorine, turbidity, conductivity, etc.).
Ensure compliance with EPA and other regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate logs of operations, tests, and maintenance activities.
Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and respond to system alarms or emergencies.
Manage and handle treatment chemicals safely.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework preferred.
State Water Treatment Operator Certification (as required).
Experience in water treatment or similar industrial environment preferred.

Skills

Knowledge of water purification systems and processes.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability.
Computer literacy (SCADA and reporting tools).
Attention to detail and safety awareness.
Physical ability to perform field and maintenance work.
