Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with 6 to 8 years of expertise in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection moulding machines and chillers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of production equipment by conducting preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines, chillers, compressors, and auxiliary equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime.

Conduct root cause analysis of equipment breakdowns and implement long-term solutions.

Monitor and maintain utilities such as water chillers, air compressors, and cooling towers.

Plan and execute machine overhauls, servicing, and calibration as per manufacturer’s guidelines.

Ensure all machines are operating at optimum efficiency and safety standards.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and breakdown reports.

Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.

6 to 8 years of proven experience in maintenance of injection moulding machines and chillers.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electronic controls.

Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance systems.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision.
