Job Description

Title - IT (Network) & Media Executive

Location - BKC, Mumbai

Shift - 10 AM to 7 PM (work from Office)

Working days – 5 (Sat & Sun off)

We are seeking a versatile networking person to manage and support our organization's network infrastructure and media streaming operations. This role requires a strong technical background in networking fundamentals and practical experience with audio-visual hardware and software for live production.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the network environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Monitor network systems and troubleshoot issues using specified monitoring tools.
• Configure and operate A/V and streaming equipment for various productions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of network and media systems.

Required Skills & Knowledge

A suitable candidate must possess the following:

• Strong Network Knowledge: Deep understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP suite, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VoIP, QoS, switching/routing, and wireless technologies.
• Monitoring Experience: Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios) and packet analysis using Wireshark.
• Streaming Expertise: Familiarity with CDN operations, NDI, video encoding and transcoding processes, and network bonding solutions.
• Hardware Knowledge: Hands-on experience with specific hardware brands including Blackmagic, Peplink, and Teradek etc.
• Software Proficiency: Experience using relevant software platforms such as Premiere/DaVinci, OBS, and vMix.
• If knows will be a bonus: Microsoft/O365/AD/Azure/VMware/Proxmox/Linux/HTML/scripting/firewalls/WAN

 

Qualifications

• BE/B tech/BCA/Bsc IT
• Certification: CCNA or equivalent
• 3+ years of hands-on experience
