Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across all operations. This role requires strong knowledge of HSE regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to implement and monitor health and safety systems effectively.


Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

Incident Prevention & Management

  • Identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports.
  • Maintain records of incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions.

Training & Awareness

  • Conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety induction programs.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all departments.
  • Ensure employees understand and follow safe working practices.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, including permits, reports, and inspection records.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance, KPIs, and compliance status.
  • Assist in preparing safety plans, emergency response plans, and risk assessments.

Emergency Preparedness

  • Standby support for emergency response drills and procedures.
  • Ensure fire safety systems and emergency equipment are regularly inspected and functional.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant HSE experience, ideally in UAE or GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment, hazard control, and safety management systems.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
  • Ability to train and motivate staff on HSE matters.
