Job Description

Head of Research and Development -  CPD Position Title: Head – Research & Development -  - CPD Location: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, India Reports To -Technical Director Role Purpose Lead the Research & Development function, with a mandate to design, develop and commercialize new, innovative, and competitive products in sun control, architectural and paint protection films. The incumbent will be responsible for accelerating the “design-to-market” cycle time, ensuring product differentiation, and aligning  initiatives with the company’s strategic goal of doubling topline revenue in 3 years.

M.Tech or PhD in Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or Surface Coating Technology. Preferred: o PhD with specialization in polymeric films, adhesives, coatings, or surface engineering. Certification or executive program in Project Management, 6 Sigma will be an added advantage.

Experience  Overall: 18–20 years in  within polymer films, Polymer Coating, specialty chemicals and advanced material sciences.  Relevant: Minimum 10-12 years of proven leadership experience in new product development and commercialization of film-based or surface protection products. Track record of taking products from concept - pilot - scale-up -market launch. • Prior exposure to global markets, MNCs will be preferred.
